At BikeGearZone, we want every ride to be perfect – and that includes your shopping experience. If your gear isn’t quite right, our returns process is as smooth as a well-oiled chain.
Our Returns Promise
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items (see exceptions below). Your item must be:
- Unused and in original condition
- In its original packaging with tags attached
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
How to Return an Item
- Initiate your return: Email our support team at admin@bikegearzone.com with your order number and reason for return
- Wait for approval: Our team (all cyclists themselves!) will respond within 24 hours with return instructions
- Package your item: Securely repackage using the original packaging if possible
- Ship it back: Use a tracked shipping service to our Glasgow headquarters: BikeGearZone Returns

Refund Process
Once we receive your return:
- Processing time: 3-5 business days after receipt
- Refund method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Timing:
- Credit/debit cards: 5-10 business days after processing
- PayPal: 2-3 business days after processing
Note: Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Exchanges
For size exchanges or different products:
- Follow the standard return process
- Include a note specifying your desired replacement
- We’ll ship the new item once we receive your return (additional charges may apply for price differences)
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Baselayers (worn next to skin)
- Bar Tape & Grips (once unwrapped)
- Personalized or custom items
- Clearance items from our Accessories Outlet
Exceptions apply if items arrive damaged or defective – contact us immediately in these cases.
International Returns
Customers outside the UK:
- You’re responsible for return shipping costs
- Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs charges
- We recommend using a tracked service (DHL or FedEx)
